By now we are all aware that the nation of Haiti was hit by a massive earthquake. I know most of you are deeply touched by the massive destruction of life and property that has taken place. I urge you to please assist the people of Haiti at this very time of need. How can you help: 1. Dine at the Carribean Taste Restaurant on 135 W. Nolana, across from the Wells Fargo Bank, Tel 683-7004 at a cost of $50 per person. The difference between the $50 and the cost of your meal will be donated to the Haiti Relief fund. The Restaurant is also receiving direct donations for Haiti. For more information, Please contact Sam Etiene on 956-821-8423. This time of year makes me happy as we finally have nights that are below 78F like we had all summer. This week we have had mornings in the 60s. While we still have hot days in the 90s, we at least get some respite in the evenings, leading to cool mornings. Returning to RG...
