Mission CISD announces times for early release day

 Friday, December 18 has been designated as an early release day for Mission CISD (Consolidated Independent School District) schools.  Pre-k students will be released at 10:30 a.m.  All other elementary grades will dismiss at 12:00 p.m. (noon).  Junior high and high schools will dismiss students at 1:00 p.m. on this day.  Afternoon pre-k students will not attend school on December 18.
      The earlier release time for pre-k students is needed to allow for proper busing procedures for the elementary schools on the early release day.
      This early release day will mark the beginning of the district’s winter break.  Students will return to class on Monday, January 4, 2010.
